How a Christian must pray based in the Bible?
1) Women must always have a long hair if she will pray it is because it is a glory to her - 1 Corinthians 11:15
2) Men must not grow their hair if they will pray it is because it is a shame to him - 1 Corinthians 11:14
3) "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven." (1 Corinthians 11:5)
So women must maintain their hair long and not short.
4) We must sing a hymn to God - Matthew 26:30
5) Ask in Jesus' name what you will ask to God - John 14:14, John 16:23-24
6) Before praying, we must sure that we follow God's commandments:
"Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth." (John 9:31)
7) If you will pray, enter to a room - Matthew 6:6
The room is your heart in Luke 6:45
House - your body (the explanation is in Ecclesiastes 12:1-6)
Grinder - your mouth
Window - your eyes
Door - your ears
WHEN TO PRAY? The answer is day and night w/o ceasing (read 2 Timothy 1:3)
The importance of praying - "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)
Key to ask - "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:" (1 John 5:14)
8) Right position when praying:
Psalms 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Matthew 26:39 Fell on his face, and prayed,
Lord Jesus is the example set to the Christians (read 1 Peter 2:21)
9) When praying to God always remember:
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
10) Pray in spirit
I will pray with the spirit, (1 Corinthians 14:15)
It means silent praying so that the devil will not do any plans to hinder the fulfillment of your prayers
