Is Job 22:15 part of the Truth?

Medieval drawing of Job and Satan

Let's read the verse:

Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden? (Job 22:15)

The question, Is the Old Way connected to what is written in Jeremiah 6:16?

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein

Let's find out what is the old paths where men can find the rest of their souls. What is that?

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:28-29)

The yoke is not the literal yoke to take but spiritual. That yoke is the teaching of Lord Jesus Christ.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2)

Now we already know that the old paths in Jeremiah are God's teachings.

Jesus teachings came from God since we can read from this verse in the Bible:

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. (John 12:49)

Jesus' words really came from the Father so they are words of God where men can find the rest of their souls.

There is a religious group in my birth nation who named their religious program THE OLD PATH.
Now its critics are using Job 22:15 to say that those members affiliated to a religion who established the TV program named THE OLD PATH in my birth nation are walking in a path where the wicked men had trodden.

When using Jeremiah 6:16, they say that there are many paths in the verse and the path in Job is one.

What an absurd explanation! We had proven that the old paths are the paths of God.

Even the are many paths of God, It is only one for Him!

Read these verses:

He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah. (John 1:23)

The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. (Proverbs 10:29)

Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. (Psalms 86:11)

Do their critics know that the words path and way are synonymous?

Part of speech: noun

Definition: direction, route

Synonyms: PATH

These critics do not even know especially the Catholic Defenders that even their own translated Bible is we can read that God himself wanted the wicked to find the OLD WAY/PATH (not paths) Include a church registered as a corporation that is well known for using different Bible versions when preaching on TV and radio.

(Jeremiah 6:16 of Bagong Magandang Balita Bibliya)

In Magandang Balita Bibliya, It was translated as DATING LANDAS in Filipino Tagalog or OLD PATH in English

In English it says: "Yahweh said to his nation, "Stand ye in the ways and see, and find the OLD ROAD, and know where is the best way. Walk in there and you will find peace."

Road is synonymous of way and path

Main entry: access

Part of speech: noun

Definition: admission, means of entry, approach

Synonyms: path, road

Part of speech: noun

In the original version, the old paths is where is the good way. they dont even know that there is not only one good way and the proof in the Bible is:

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. (Proverbs 2:9)

Why called every? it is because it is not only one!

It means that on EACH GOOD PATH is you can find EACH of the OLD PATH.

Since we already knew that the Biblical Old Path is the commandment of God, now the question: Will a wicked walk on God's path?

But fools despise wisdom and instruction.(Proverbs 1:7)

We had proven that Eliphaz the Temanite is lying on that verse.

No wonder why God said these: (read the bolded and underlined words)

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.(Job 42:7-8)

Last question: Where is the path which the wicked trodden?
Answer: Their own paths.

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. (Isaiah 56:11)

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (Romans 10:3)

Last attempt to prove that Job 22:15 as part of the Truth is they say that we must walk to a new way which is Christ that is written in Hebrews 10:20 of the Bible.

I can say that during Apostles' time, that way is new but today this is already old.

IT IS PART OF THE BIBLICAL OLD PATH!

Is there an unrefutable evidence in the Bible that the WAY OF THE LORD is really OLD?

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained we should walk in them. that (Ephesians 2:10)

How can we do good works if we dont follow God's teachings?

To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? (Deuteronomy 10:13)
